I moved to Georgetown back in August 2024 and discovered this little gem of a restaurant. I eat there often, the breakfast, lunch and dinner are great, the staff is amazing. I love it.

Simmer Down always comes through when I'm stuck at work and can't get lunch. I have yet to have a bad meal. The catfish is amazing and my other favorite are the pork chops. I will definitely order again and hope to actually dine in soon.

I had the veggie omelet with sausage and ham. It was the best omelet I had in longer than I can remember. The place was really cute and settled in a cozy area. Our mimosas, coffee and other dishes were a hit with my friends as well. I would drive out of the way to go there again.
